Day 1: Zagreb
You will arrive at Zagreb Airport and be transferred to the hotel.
Overnight: Zagreb
Day 2: Zagreb
This morning you will explore Croatia’s capital, Zagreb, on a walking tour. During the tour you will see highlights such as the fortified Upper Town, the city’s historical centre, St Mark’s church with its multi-coloured roof, the Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and the University. Thereafter the remainder of your day will be at your leisure in this wonderful city.

Day 3: Zagreb – Plitvice – Trogir – Split
Today the actual journey begins as you travel to Plitvice National Park. This park is well known for its 16 crystal-blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Entrance is included so you can walk on the wooden promenades with magnificent views over the waters as turning every corner leads to more breath-taking scenery and yet another waterfall. Then the journey continues to the UNESCO-protected Trogir, a city with a historic center that is actually on an island just off the mainland. The main western Cathedral of St. Lawrence, a masterpiece by master by sculptor Radovan, represents the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia. Towards the evening you will then arrive in Split, the day’s final destination.

Day 4: Split – Hvar
In the late morning you will enjoy a walking tour of Split, home to the UNESCO-protected Diocletian Palace complex. Later you will then board ferry departing to Croatia’s sunniest island, Hvar.

Day 5: Hvar
The entire day will be spent on Hvar, at first on a walking tour of the town and then later you will simply have time at leisure to keep exploring on your own. Hvar is a town of a unique cultural and historical heritage and also an important tourist resort that has attracted visitors for centuries. The island’s popularity among even the international jet-set likely has something to do with the pleasant climate. You will find an abundance of sunshine and natural beauty making it the ideal location for various recreational activities.

Day 6: Hvar – Korcula
You will still have the morning to continue exploring Hvar. Then in the afternoon, you will depart from Hvar on a ferry bound for Korcula. This picturesque little town is sometimes also called “Little Dubrovnik” as it features many similar traits, such as the orange roofing to name just one.

Day 7: Korcula – Dubrovnik
Korcula has narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent palaces and counts as one of the best preserved medieval towns on the Mediterranean. It also alleges to be the birthplace of the famous explorer, Marco Polo, whom you can now emulate as explore the town at your leisure this morning. In the early afternoon, you will then depart to Dubrovnik, this journey’s final destination. Dubrovnik, sometimes also called “The Jewel of Croatia”, has a fascinating Old Town which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1971.

Day 8: Dubrovnik
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Dubrovnik Airport. (B)
